Station to Station

From the station car park head out on a footpath, then along Bar View Lane under the A30. Follow the footpath right, a track left out onto a lane, take a footpath to the right, then left along the edge of fields. Continue across the road, bearing left to reach a stile, over fields to a lane, turning right to Gwinear Church.

Go through the village until you reach a footpath forking left out to cross a field. Turn left through a farm and downhill. Continue on up over the mainline railway, crossing the route of the Hayle railway out to Connor Downs. A loop around the village brings you back across the railway bridge.

At the bottom take the footpath right coming out on a lane under Angarrack Viaduct. Turn left down Steamers Hill and right at the bottom to the West Cornwall Shopping Park, with views of the incline. After crossing the footbridge turn left, following the path past Angarrack station, along Lovers Lane, then right, across the road taking a path to join King George V Memorial Walk to the Quay.

Follow the Coast Path turning right before the holiday park to a footpath. Then right along the lane, footpaths to the right to loop around Phillack church and back down to the Quay, across the old railway bridge and back to Hayle station.
